Inspired by Anne

I didn’t read Anne of Green Gables until my first year at college when a lifelong fan of Anne lent me a beautiful illustrated version with annotations. I immediately fell in love with the writing, and the story, and the characters, and the setting.

I’ve read the book about 20 times since then and find myself laughing and crying at all the same pages.

The following young ladies are inspired by that setting, but aren’t meant to represent anyone in particular. It’s a celebration of frills and furbelows.
